Gila County is a different kind of territory than the flat East Valley grid we’re used to. Globe and Miami grew up around copper mining, built into hillsides with narrower, steeper streets than a Chandler subdivision ever has, and Payson sits up in the pines at a much higher elevation, with its own weather separate from the desert floor below. None of these towns commute toward Phoenix; they’re mountain and mining communities in their own right, well beyond the East Valley’s edge.
We still run Gila County moves — a Globe household or a Payson downsizing job comes up a few times a month rather than daily — and when we do, the same live tracking link goes out and the same two-hour window applies, just spaced further apart on the calendar than our Maricopa and Pinal routes.
What a Gila County Move Runs
A two-mover crew starts at $129/hr, or Desmond Okoye sizes up a flat rate by bedroom count once he’s walked the job, starting at $1,950 for four-bedroom-plus homes
The rate doesn’t change whether the address is in Gila County, a starter home a few blocks off Arizona Ave, or a two-story set back in a gated community — released-value coverage and the two-hour arrival window are already built into every number AZ On Time Moving gives you, and nothing gets added once the crew’s finished loading.
